About
Loving Start Learning Center offers Spanish introduction in all classes and monthly Monart-style art classes in a private school setting. The program is described as more than just childcare or daycare and provides a safe, fun, creative, and hands-on environment where children experience a love for one another as well as the environment. The curriculum is well thought out and precisely planned, intertwining approaches such as Montessori, Waldorf, Academic, Developmental, and Play into classroom teaching styles.

Loving Start Learning Center was established in 2001. The school offers a “Green” school environment inside and out and is described as the first true “Eco-Friendly” and “Green” school in the Placer County area. The program focuses on building positive self-esteem while preparing students for a lifetime love of learning, and it adapts its program as community needs change. Loving Start describes itself as a school family, maintains an open-door policy for parents to ask questions and get updates, and states that it is here to serve children and their families by giving each child individualized attention and nurturing, and by believing in the process not just the product.
High quality teachers at Loving Start Learning Center are selected from among many qualified applicants and are trained to exceed all state standards, with staff as a whole exceeding all state standards. Each teacher has many years of experience working with young children. All staff members are fingerprinted and are CPR and First Aid trained. Class ratios are between 1:8 and 1:12 depending on class and age group, with two teachers in each class. The Auburn location operates under License Number 313621208.
One parent, Farrah White, states that the best part of Loving Start for her is that the teachers genuinely care about her son and are nurturing, and that knowing he is cared for in a loving way and has fun makes drop-off easier. Christina Rivera reports that her son attended Loving Start Learning Center for two years, that he is very advanced in his kindergarten class, and that she credits Amber and the personal attention they received, adding that her youngest son is enrolled for the next year. Rebecca Hardesty describes Loving Start as having an intimate atmosphere where her son received a great deal of individual attention, looked forward to attending, spoke highly of the staff, and experienced academics presented in fun and creative ways through play, art, and social activities. Kelly Zermeno shares that after visiting many preschools, her family chose Loving Start because it offered a well-rounded schedule of academics and a warm, home-like feel, and she reports that after two years there, her son was completely prepared to join elementary school and has excelled academically and socially in kindergarten. Susan V. states that her daughter has attended Loving Start since it opened, that the teachers and director make sure every child gets the attention and care they need, that staff worked with her shy daughter to bring her out of her shell, and that her daughter comes home singing in Spanish and English almost every day.
