Loomis Community Preschool

Loomis Community Preschool includes circle time, sensory, art, science, and literacy activities, along with hands-on activities and centers during discovery time, snack time, and rain-or-shine outside time. It offers Hummingbirds for 15-23 months, Ducklings for 2-3 years, and Owls and Eagles for 3-6 years.

Programs

• Hummingbirds — 15-23 months · Monday 10:00-11:00 am · $160 per session · Adult caregiver required to attend with child. 8-week session. No co-op participation requirements. New enrichment class.
• Ducklings — 2-3 years · Wednesday 9:00-11:00 am; Friday 10:00 am-12:00 pm · $90–$180 per month · Adult caregiver required to attend with child. Potty training not required. Monthly tuition is $90 for 1 day and $180 for both days.
• Owls — 3-6 years · Tuesday/Thursday 9:00-11:30 am · $210 per month · Must be 3 by September 1, 2026. Potty learning in progress (pull-ups ok). Limited-participation spots are available for an additional fee, subject to enrollment and board approval.
• Eagles — 3-6 years · Tues/Wed/Thurs 12:00-2:30 pm · $310 per month · Must be 3 by September 1, 2026. Potty learning in progress (pull-ups ok). Limited-participation spots are available for an additional fee, subject to enrollment and board approval.

About the provider

Loomis Community Preschool is a nonprofit with a Board of Directors made up of parents who oversee the school’s financial and operational functions. Administrative Director Amy Anderson and Preschool Director Kellie Garing are listed on the leadership team. The school is a member of the California Council of Parent Participatory Nursery Schools and serves families in Placer County and the communities of Loomis, Rocklin, Roseville, and surrounding areas.

LCP operates as a nonprofit and the Board of Directors is composed of parents who oversee the financial and operational functions of the school. The school does not discriminate by race, color, national or ethnic origin, creed, religion, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, disability or status. Enrollment for 2026-27 is open, but Owls Class and both Ducklings Classes are waitlist only, and Fall Hummingbirds is full. Limited-participation spots in Owls and Eagles are subject to enrollment and board approval.
