Bakersfield Racquet Club Camps and Tennis Programs offers Camps at BRC for juniors and adults throughout the year during school breaks, holidays, and summer. It also offers Weekly Drills & Clinics, Private & Group Lessons, After-school Programs, Annual Club Tournaments, Club Leagues, and USTA Leagues. Seasonal camps include Christmas Camp, New Year Camp, and Thanksgiving 2025 Turkey Camp, with separate beginner and advanced groups in the Christmas and New Year camps.

About the provider

Bakersfield Racquet Club was established in 1948 and was built on Pine St in 1948. It is the 5th oldest tennis club west of the Rocky Mountains, and 2023 was its 75th anniversary. The leadership team includes Mark Fredriksz, Robert Limpias, Buddy Turl, Tim Roe, John Marble, Art Sherwyn, Ryan Chavez, and Adrian Magallanes.

• New Year Camp — junior players · Dec 29-30 · $40–$60 per day · Beginner Group: 10:00 AM-1:00 PM; Advanced Group: 1:30 PM-3:30 PM. Separate beginner and advanced sessions.
• Thanksgiving 2025 Turkey Camp — ages 5-15 · Nov 24-26, 9:00 AM-12:00 PM · $50–$60 per day · 3-day camp (Monday-Wednesday); 30-minute snack break; led by BRC coaching staff.
• Thanksgiving 2025 Turkey Camp (Advanced) — competitive juniors · Nov 24-26, 12:30 PM-2:30 PM · $40–$45 per day · Limited spots: 16 total; performance-focused training and match play; led by BRC’s pro staff: Tim Roe & Anthony Renteria.
• Weekly Drills & Clinics — all levels · several times each week · Sharpen your game in a fun, focused environment.
• Private & Group Lessons — adults and juniors · Work one-on-one or bring a group.
• After-school Programs — young players · Structured sessions designed to build fundamentals, fitness, and friendships.

BRC is a private, member-owned club. Members' guests are welcome to participate in certain drills, activities and clinics at non-member rates. Memberships include Single Adult, Junior, and Family. Contact the Pro Shop to register for camps.
