Summer Art Camp at BMoA offers children's art classes, camps, and workshops that emphasize creative problem-solving and experimentation. Students take part in a variety of themed workshops that encourage young artists to experiment and play. The program includes Pre-K & K Camp, Kids Camp, and Teen Camp.

Summer Art Camp at BMoA takes place at the Bakersfield Museum of Art (BMoA), which offers children's art classes, camps, and workshops along with other educational programs, community outreach, and special events. The camp includes Pre-K & K Camp for ages 2–5, 2025 Kids Camp for ages 6–11, and Teen Camp for ages 12–17.
The Bakersfield Museum of Art was founded in 1956 and has provided exhibits and educational opportunities in the visual arts for over 60 years. The institution is a non-profit 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization accredited by the American Alliance of Museums and earned a 2021 Platinum Seal of Transparency. Its mission is to enhance the quality of life through art appreciation and educational opportunities in the visual arts and to inspire and engage diverse audiences through creative art, educational programs, community outreach, and special events.
The leadership team includes Executive Director and Chief Curator Gilbert Vicario, Curator of Exhibitions and Collections Victor Gonzales, Visitor Services & Venue Coordinator Curtis Cargill, Development Coordinator Alli Duncan, Events & Volunteer Coordinator Chelsea Geronimo, Assistant Curator Abby Kinsey, Business Manager Toni McCoy, and Marketing & Communications Manager Lauren Marty. The program is supported by the Bakersfield North Rotary Foundation and the Wheeler Foundation as part of BMoA’s educational programs, community outreach, and special events for Bakersfield and Kern County residents and visitors.
