Benicia KinderCare includes small-group and large-group learning activities. Children take part in interactive, child-directed activities, teacher-directed activities, and hands-on activities as part of the daily routine.
• Ages: 0–12 years old
• Schedule: Open Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM
The program offers Infant Programs for children 6 weeks to 1 year, Toddler Programs for children 1–2 years, and Discovery Preschool Programs for children 2–3 years. It also includes Preschool, Before- and After-School care, and Summer and Spring Break care for ages 5–12. Infant daycare has limited availability, while toddler daycare, Discovery Preschool, Preschool, and Before- and After-School care are available. Champ Camp is offered on a full-time or part-time basis during school breaks.
The center’s main stated goal is to ensure the well-being, safety, and education for all of its students. The center is accredited by NAEYC. The leadership team includes Center Director Michelle Palacios. The program notes that teachers help their students develop confidence for life, and that classrooms are described as safe and healthy. The program is currently enrolling for spring and summer 2026, and elementary schools bussed to include Joe Henderson, Mary Farmer, and Robert Semple.
