Before & After School Programs (Y-Kids and Y-Scholars) include activities such as drawing, crafts, origami, manga, pottery, robotics, a maker's club, and coding. Children also take part in outdoor sports, group games, the Fit Kids program, and phonics work as part of the daily routine.

Before & After School programs serve Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade students. Y-Kids offers both fee-based and Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) options for TK–5th graders. Y-Scholars provides after school and summer programs for TK–8th grade students. Program components include academic support, arts activities, science and technology projects, sports and movement, and language and literacy work. Early Learning Centers connected with the same organization provide full-day, year-round care for eligible families with children ages 0–5.
