City of Berkeley Youth Sports and Basketball Leagues offers youth basketball leagues, baseball leagues, tennis lessons, and ongoing specialty classes. The program also offers Summer Fun Camps, an Aquatics Day Camp, Pre-K/Tots programs, and Summer Swim Lessons. Registration is ongoing and open until filled, and class or activity registration is incomplete until payment is received.
• Schedule: Registration for 2026 Summer Fun Camps, Aquatics Day Camp, and Pre-K/Tots opens Thursday, February 19th at 9:00am for residents, with non-resident registration opening on February 26th at 9:00am. Registration for 2026 Summer Swim Lessons and ongoing specialty classes opens Thursday, April 9th at 9:00am for residents, with non-resident registration opening on April 16th at 9:00am.
The city reserves the right to cancel classes with enrollments under the minimum requirement. Registration for some tennis lessons, baseball leagues, and youth basketball leagues must use a separate registration form that can be picked up at a Recreation Hub or downloaded from the website.
