East Bay Cyclones is a travel baseball program that offers year-round baseball development, including summer travel experiences and spring tournaments for 11U and 12U teams. Players take part in individualized 1:1 coaching sessions, with dedicated pitching, catching, and hitting coaching available across all age groups. Cyclones players frequently train with alumni or local college teams, and winter conditioning is offered for 12U and older.

• Schedule: Runs August through July with a break from November through mid-January; 11U and 12U play some spring tournaments and then regroup to play from June to July
• Price: Donations in amounts such as $25, $50, $100 or more are requested to support program costs
Each age group (9-10U, 11U, 12U, 13-14U) is led by a dedicated, professional coach drawn from local high school programs, and many of these coaches have played at the collegiate and minor league levels, with assistant coaches who have high school and college playing experience. The East Bay Cyclones describe their mission as focusing on player development to build the skills, experience, and character needed to play at the high school level and beyond, with an emphasis on fundamentals and work ethic. The program is described as the East Bay’s premier travel baseball program and is a no-tryout, no-cut program that welcomes all players committed to improving their baseball skills, with players practicing with age-group peers and being regularly evaluated in age groups that have multiple teams. Tournament teams are formed based on skill level and work ethic, and players have consistent opportunities to move up as they develop, with all 12U and under players recommended to also play in their local Little Leagues. Annual registrations cover coaches, fields, uniforms, equipment, clinics, and other basics for each team, and financial aid is offered so players are not turned away based on inability to pay program or tournament costs. The East Bay Cyclones provide travel baseball in the San Francisco East Bay area for kids from Berkeley, Albany, El Cerrito, Richmond, Kensington, Oakland, and Emeryville, and donations support both the Cyclones and the Hurricanes (girls baseball).
