About
EDMO Comprehensive Afterschool Programming includes homework help, tutoring, outdoor recreation, mindfulness, meditation, and providing nutritious food options. The program uses hands-on STEAM exploration with themes such as Eco Engineers, Cartoon Coders, Fairy Tale Writing, Stop Motion Stories, and Dino Discovery. Kids participate in activities that combine STEAM projects with social-emotional learning through The EDMO Method, which focuses on Self-Awareness, Problem-Solving, Advocacy, Collaboration, and Empathy (S.P.A.C.E.).
• Schedule: Afterschool programming runs 180 days per school year.
Founded in 2004, EDMO Comprehensive Afterschool Programming is part of EDMO, a national award-winning 501(c)(3) education nonprofit. The afterschool programming delivers a blend of STEAM and social-emotional learning curriculum developed in-house by a team of expert curriculum designers and led by highly trained staff.
