About
CED Summer Programs offers design summer programs in architecture, city planning, landscape architecture, and sustainable environmental design that teach design fundamentals, award college credit, and provide portfolio building opportunities. The Summer Institute in Environmental Design consists of three intensive summer programs in architecture, landscape architecture, and city planning that use a studio-based curriculum. DISC: Design + Innovation for Sustainable Cities focuses on the intersection of design and sustainability and addresses urban challenges through innovative design solutions, and the embARC Summer Design Academy combines architecture, urban design, and sustainability in a project-based learning format.
• Ages: 14–18 years old
• Schedule: The Summer Institute in Environmental Design is 6 weeks long; DISC: Design + Innovation for Sustainable Cities is 5 weeks long; the embARC Summer Design Academy is 4 weeks long.
