About the provider

The mission of the Mahea Uchiyama Center for International Dance is to connect all people through traditional dance and music in order to foster a greater understanding of shared human history and promote cross-cultural communication. The Center says it offers students of all ages and abilities access to dance, music, and culture from Hawaiʻi, Polynesia, Africa, and Asia through master teachers in classes and workshops at the studio and elsewhere. It is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

The Center is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization. Hālau tuition page states: Adults (14+) drop in $25; Children (to ages 14) drop in $15; annual registration fee $35; monthly payment only available at the beginning of each month; quarterly payment only available the first 2 weeks of the beginning of each quarter; all classes must be taken or made up within the month or quarter paid; make-up classes must be at the same level or lower.
