Camp Galileo offers STEAM exploration and outdoor fun. The program also includes Counselors in Training (CITs), who shadow K-5th-grade campers, observe and support staffers, mentor younger kids, and receive coaching.

About the provider
Camp Galileo began in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2002. Since its start in 2002, Galileo has served over 600,000 campers, and the site also says it has served over 570,000 campers. Galileo states that its mission is to ignite the innovator in every kid and that it believes every individual has the potential to become an innovator who can envision and create a better world.
- Optional AM Care — 8 am to 9 am · Pre-camp care.
- Optional PM Care — 3 pm–6 pm · Extended care; activities include outdoor time, lanyards and crafts.
Families can enroll now / early enrollment is here for Summer 2027. The Berkeley summer camp page says the camp is closed for the season. Campers are grouped by grade bands K-1st, 2nd-3rd, 4th-5th, 6th-8th, and 8th-10th.
