Golden Key Piano School offers piano lessons with a choice of private or group formats. The program includes a Group Preparatory Piano Class for ages 3 and 4, online lessons, Royal Conservatory exam preparation, Certificate of Merit Test preparation, optional formal recitals at least twice a year, and casual monthly performances arranged at the school.

Golden Key Piano School was established in 2003. All teachers are university-trained musicians who were trained based on the Russian teaching method and teach using Anna Artobolevskaya’s teaching philosophy. Instruction is available for ages 5 through adults, with more than seven teachers to choose from, and families can schedule private lessons for two or more family members at the same time. The school states that it focuses on creativity and that love is the “Golden Key” in the learning process, and desk staff are available to assist during all teaching hours every day. Golden Key Piano School has been chosen as the Best of Berkeley in music lessons for ten consecutive years since 2008.
