Green Stuff Summer Camp offers children the chance to learn about amazing plant adaptations and habitat diversity. Participants can collect seeds in the Crops of the World Garden and grow their own plants. The camp also includes activities such as becoming a young botanist by examining plants under microscopes, keeping a nature journal, creating arts and crafts from plant materials, hunting for garden animals like birds and butterflies, and investigating different parts of the Garden each day.
• Ages: 6–12 years old
• Schedule: Monday–Friday; 9:00 am–2:00 pm for Grades 1-2, 9:00 am–3:00 pm for Grades 3-6
• Price: $475 per week for Grades 1-2, $500 per week for Grades 3-6

The camp is part of UC Berkeley’s Natural History Museum Consortium and is an award-winning nature camp. It provides a small-group experience with two counselors supervising 10 to 12 children each week. The Garden’s mission includes developing a diverse living collection of plants and promoting public understanding of the natural environment.
