Melita Music - Kids Music Classes & Parties

Melita Music - Kids Music Classes & Parties offers kids music, children’s classes and performances, and music classes, as well as birthday parties, shows and events, house concerts, song circles, sound healing experiences, healing ceremonies, and ceremonial song leading. The program includes mystic folk music and music that spans transformational electronic music, contemporary folk, traditional and non-traditional Jewish music, and children’s music. It also offers healing ceremonies that weave voice and songs with sound tools and other practices that encourage depth, self inquiry, and transformation.

Melita Music - Kids Music Classes & Parties is led by Melita, a contemporary folk musician, children’s performer, ceremonial song-leader, and sound healer, and a founding member of Octopretzel, a popular Bay Area children’s band. Melita has worked as a music specialist for young children for over 20 years in an array of Bay Area schools and other venues for families in the Bay Area, and has years of training as an energy healer. Melita works extensively in the Jewish community as a service leader and musician for life cycle events.
