Mi Mundo Preschool

Mi Mundo Preschool is a Spanish immersion art school. • General schedule: Two classrooms: young class for late two-year-olds to late three-year-olds, and older classroom for late three-year-olds to 5. Sample day runs from 7:45 AM drop off to 5:15 PM last pick-up, with outdoor play, Spanish circle/movement and songs, art/science project in Spanish, nap/quiet time, and group outdoor/indoor artwork.

About the provider

Mi Mundo Preschool states that it honors and celebrates the beauty of the world’s diversity. It aims to introduce children to different cultures at an early age to enrich their first schooling experience and foster empathy, acceptance, and curiosity.

Children must be at least 2 years and 6 months to start the program in August. Children must be fully potty trained, able to focus on activities for at least 10 minutes, and able to voice their feelings and needs. In Berkeley, children must be able to communicate in either English or Spanish; no Spanish exposure required. Full-time schedules are limited at the Berkeley location. The school uses the Brightwheel App for daily updates.
