Mi Mundo Preschool is an art school taught in Spanish where children take part in activities such as art, Spanish, culture, geography, family, science, and play. The program uses hands-on classrooms where children can express and develop cognitive, social, and motor skills, and the curriculum is based on children’s interests with an understanding that they learn best through play. Children in the program learn the Spanish language at the school.

Mi Mundo Preschool is a Spanish immersion school that offers an art school taught in Spanish for children as young as two and a half through five years old. The curriculum emphasizes culture, geography, family, science, and play, and Mi Mundo in El Cerrito offers an Art and Spanish program that opened in September 2018. Mi Mundo in Berkeley is a school for 29 children from two and a half years of age to five, and there is also a Home Preschool program that uses the same curriculum as the other two schools but takes place in a home instead of a center. The program holds annual open houses.
Children must be at least 2 years and 6 months to start the program in August, must be fully potty trained, must be able to focus on activities for at least 10 minutes, and must be able to voice their feelings and needs. All applying children are invited for an assessment to confirm these requirements, and Spanish exposure and/or daycare is listed as a plus. Mi Mundo Preschool states that it honors and embraces the world’s diversity and believes that exposing children to different cultures enriches their first schooling experience and teaches empathy and acceptance.
