The Music Connection (TMC) offers free, supplemental music tutoring that includes after-school music tutoring, in-class music tutoring, and music lessons. The program provides private instrument tutoring and one-on-one music tutoring, and tutors also support classes as in-class tutoring music teacher assistants. Tutoring is available in both individual and group settings.

Tutors are UC Berkeley students from a variety of academic backgrounds, all with extensive musical experience. The Music Connection (TMC) works with students from the Berkeley and Oakland Unified School Districts to provide free, supplemental music tutoring for young musicians through after-school and in-class tutoring in both individual and group settings.
