Youth Development Programs include Youth & Government programs, Youth Sports such as parent-child classes and youth basketball clinics, and Studio Classes. The programs also include Swimming with warm water fitness and water aerobics, Pickleball, Fitness programs, Overnight camp and Overnight summer camp at Camp Loma Mar, and Before & After School / ELOP Care and Before & After School Care. Early Care & Education offers full-day, year-round care for eligible families with children from birth to 5 years old.
• Schedule: Full-day, year-round care is available for eligible families with children ages 0–5.
• Price: Financial assistance is available for gym memberships, Youth & Government programs, swim lessons, youth sports, and camperships.
For more than 100 years, the organization behind Youth Development Programs has been bringing families, neighbors, and friends together in a safe and fun environment to learn, play, and grow. Its mission is to Empower Youth, Advance Health, and Strengthen Communities. It serves over 68,000 people across Alameda, Contra Costa, and Yolo counties and partners with school districts across the East Bay to provide dynamic and engaging programming. It also partners with qualified contractors, vendors, and service providers to support its branches, early learning centers, and programs, and offers campership dollars so more children can experience overnight summer camp. Families can use a mobile app to access their YMCA account, schedules, and workouts.
