Young Performers Theatre Summer Camps

Young Performers Theatre Summer Camps offer children the chance to engage in Performing Arts and Imagination Play. These activities are designed to immerse participants in the world of theatre and creativity.

• Location: Southside Theatre in Building D at Fort Mason, 2 Marina Blvd. Building D, third floor San Francisco, CA 94123

Founded in 1983, the program is led by Executive Director Stephanie Holmes. The mission is to provide every child in the Bay Area with the opportunity to tell their stories and participate in theatre. Young Performers Theatre collaborates with Blue Bear School of Music and San Francisco Children's Art Center to offer camps that combine music, art, and drama. Unique features include participation in fully staged repertory productions free of charge and providing outreach to schools and communities lacking access to theatre arts-based enrichment curricula.
