Traditional Equitation School (TES)

Traditional Equitation School (TES) offers horse camp for ages 6-12, private lessons, group lessons, a Girl Scout horseback riding badge program, a Boy Scout badge program, an IEA riding team for 4th-12th grade, schooling shows, and birthday parties. Private lessons and group lessons are available for first time through advanced riders, and horse camp runs in Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter, and school holidays.

About the provider

TES was established in 1981. It is the oldest and largest continually operating horseback riding school in Los Angeles. TES is the Official Riding School of the Los Angeles Equestrian Center, has Los Angeles' only IEA Dressage Team, and is a winning IEA riding team. It is also an approved charter school vendor and a major donor to Star Horses, which offers therapeutic horseback riding to children and adults.

Payment plans available. Riders must sign and agree to the Release of Liability & Assumption of Risk Agreement before riding in the facility.
