Victory Theatre Center Acting Studio offers acting classes in a small studio setting where Maria Gobetti teaches the Meisner basics technique on an individual basis while using available video facilities. The program is part of a theatre that also presents productions, workshops, staged readings, special events, dramaturgical workshops, directing seminars, technical seminars, and theatrical productions, including world premieres such as Buyer & Cellar. Classes at the Acting Studio are small and allow only the best and most dedicated actors, with all actors having an opportunity to work in every class.

Victory Theatre Center Acting Studio is part of the Victory Theatre Center, an award-winning nonprofit theatre founded by Artistic Director Maria Gobetti and the late Tom Ormeny. Victory Theatre Center has been dedicated to developing and producing new theatrical works for more than four decades and has presented over 100 productions and 100 workshops since 1980, 80% of which have been new plays. The theatre presents productions, workshops, staged readings, special events, and community programming in two intimate performance spaces called the Big Victory Theatre and the Little Victory Theatre, described as small theatres where the small space cultivates closeness and the shared experience creates connection and community. The theatre’s mission is to develop new plays, produce world premieres and significant revivals by American playwrights, and foster the emergence of new talent through productions, dramaturgical workshops, acting classes, and directing and technical seminars.
