Little Learners ~ Calabasas Klubhouse Preschool offers a play-based preschool program that includes hands on exploration, science experiences, sensory experiences, music class, enrichment opportunities, and math activities. Children can participate in specific enrichment options such as Choo Choo Music, soccer class (Captain Kicks Shots), and Webby Dance. The program takes place on a campus with five classrooms made up of five different age groups, including two toddler classrooms, two preschool classrooms, and a Pre-K classroom, and the surroundings are described as park-like and serene with large outdoor play areas and a beautiful landscape.

The stated mission of Little Learners ~ Calabasas Klubhouse Preschool is to provide a high quality, developmentally appropriate, play based preschool program. The school year includes on-site events such as two Scholastic Book Fairs each year, a Halloween Trunk-or-Treat, a Thanksgiving Celebration, a Holiday Concert and Cookie Decorating, a Spring Egg Hunt, an End of the Year Party, and Graduation, along with a variety of enrichment programs during the school year. Choo Choo Music is offered as an early childhood online music and movement program, Captain Kicks Shots soccer class is held on Friday mornings for enrichment, and Webby Dance takes place on-site on Thursday mornings for enrolled students.

The leadership team includes Ms. Carly and Ms. Bridget as Executive Directors, with Bridget Nelson and Carly Armacost each serving as one of the Calabasas Klubhouse Executive Directors. Little Learners Calabasas Klubhouse staff are described as well trained Early Childhood Educators. Bridget Nelson holds a BA in Liberal Arts from Mt. St. Mary's University, Los Angeles, an MA in Educational Psychology with a Specialization in Early Childhood Education from California State University, Northridge, 40 or more units in Child Development, is certified in the Handwriting without Tears program, holds a Child Development Program Director Permit (highest level) issued by the California Department of Education Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC), belongs to several professional organizations related to the child care field, and holds a number of health and safety certifications. Carly Armacost holds a BA in Communications from California State University, Northridge, has additional educational units in Early Childhood Education, is waiting for issuance of a Child Development Site Supervisor Permit (2nd highest level) from the California Department of Education Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC), and holds a number of other health and safety certifications. Staff members are noted as holding a number of health and safety certifications.

In December of 1998, the City of Calabasas purchased the 11.8 acres where the Calabasas Klubhouse now resides with the hope of opening a state-of-the-art preschool for the community. The campus is described as beautiful, with a beautiful open setting and landscape, large outdoor play areas, and clean, gorgeous grounds.

The preschool has a composting program in collaboration with Full Circle Compost, using soil created from the school’s food waste, and a gardening program that stems from this composting effort. Families can participate in the composting program by bringing in food waste from home.

Parent testimonials describe children learning to read, write, and do beginning math, as well as learning to write their own names, and mention that teachers are loving, instructive, sincere, and engaged with the children. Families describe the environment as very safe and comfortable, wholesome and family-oriented, and like one big community, and note that the campus landscape is beautiful and the grounds are clean and gorgeous. Multiple families state that they have recommended Calabasas Klubhouse to other families and that their children have been happy attending the preschool.
