Cali Camp offers activities such as swimming in the pool, arts and crafts, a ropes course, horseback riding, go-karts, zip lines, aerial arts, handball, Ga-Ga, archery, gymnastics, rock climbing for kids, art, nature hikes, and time on the playground. The program includes adventure camp and equestrian camp options, and Cali Campers swim every day.

• Ages: 4–15 years old
• Schedule: 2026 camp dates run from June 15 to August 14, with office hours Monday through Friday from 9 am to 3:30 pm

Established in 1955, Cali Camp welcomes campers ages 4 to 15 and includes a Wrangler Camp specialty option for horse lovers ages 8 to 14, as well as a Junior Leaders program for 14- or 15-year-olds with special training experiences in leadership. The camp has been described as the best summer camp for kids in Los Angeles. The staff holds hundreds of years of combined experience. Cali Camp states that it is dedicated to offering an engaging and connective experience in a natural setting and to providing safe and joyful opportunities for both campers and staff to embody laughter, growth, and adventure.

Hot lunch is available for purchase on a per-day basis through a CampMinder account, with Rocco’s Kitchen at Cali Camp providing daily and special-of-the-day menu items, including vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free options every day. A Snack Shack sells ice cream, fresh baked cookies, and fresh popped popcorn, and Cali Camp swag such as stuffed animals, mini backpacks, towels, and keychains is sold. Money can be added to a camper’s Camp Store account to pay for snacks and camp merchandise, and unused funds from pre-paid lunches or the camp store are non-refundable.

Families are asked to send campers with their own lunch in an insulated lunch box, and campers keep their bags at group shelves in the shade, with ice packs recommended. All campers must show a staff member how much of their lunch they have eaten before going to the Snack Shack. It is suggested to only send campers with a minimal amount of cash per day, and Cali Camp is not responsible for misplaced money. Open Houses are held on the property from 10 am to 1 pm with self-guided tours, staff meetings, and sample activities, no RSVP is required, and it is suggested to allow at least an hour for a visit to Cali Camp.
