About
Kids Art Classes & Camps offers Art After School: Exploring Creativity for ages 6–11, Master Classes for ages 12–18, Art Camps for ages 6–14, and Free Family Art Activities for all ages. Classes include drawing, painting, sculpture, fiber arts, printmaking, beading, and other art projects, and the camps are led by professional studio artists. Free Family Art Activities are family-led and held in collaboration with Open Studios.
Programs
- Art After School: Exploring Creativity — Ages 6–11 · Nurtures and promotes creativity in elementary students through fun activities and art projects; classes cover a variety of mediums.
- Master Classes — Ages 12–18 · Taught by professional working artists and designed with serious, budding artists in mind.
- Free Family Art Activities — All ages · First Saturday of the month, 11 am–2 pm; February–June and September–December · Seasonal projects for all ages; family-led activities and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
- Art Camps — Ages 6–14 · Kids stay actively engaged with a variety of instructors, mediums, and techniques; led by professional studio artists.
- Summer Art Camp 2027 — Ages 6–14 · $299–$399 per week · Half days 9:30 am–12:30 pm are $299/week; full days 9:30 am–4:00 pm are $399/week.

Studio Channel Islands Art Center’s mission is to expand creative inquiry and cultivate artistic excellence by supporting artists, educators, and audiences in the visual, literary, and performing arts. Free Family Art Activities are held on the first Saturday of the month from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., February through June and September through December. Summer Art Camp 2027 is listed at $299 per week for half days from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and $399 per week for full days from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
