Maki Swim offers swimming instruction in a year-round, enclosed and heated pool. The program uses a whole-person Montessori style approach to swimming and does not utilize leveled systems, instead progressing students through precept-based skills from water survival and safety to technique and mastery at a pace that meets the student where they are. The program is family-owned and family driven, with a custom scheduling process and a highly responsive office management team.

The pool has a shallow water depth of 3–4 feet and a climate-controlled enclosure that protects against weather and harmful UV rays. The program has been recognized as an award-winning swim school by Bay Area Parent and by Yelp users. Maki Swim leaders are involved with the Campbell Chamber of Commerce, often co-hosting events with them, and they participate in philanthropic fundraising for charities and other schools and businesses in the Bay Area.
