Camp Capitola

Camp Capitola is a summer day camp with outdoor games, sports, arts and crafts, drama, weekly beach days, and walking field trips. It also has all-day, morning-only, and afternoon-only schedules, with extended care in the morning and afternoon.

Programs

• Camp Capitola — 4 years and 9 months to 14 years · Session 1: June 8 - June 18; Session 2: June 22 - July 2; Session 3: July 6 - July 17; Session 4: July 20 - July 31; All Day: 9 am-4:30 pm; Morning Only: 9 am-12:30 pm; Afternoon Only: 1-4:30 pm; Extended care morning: 8-9 am; Extended care afternoon: 4:30-5:30 pm · Summer day camp at Jade Street Park with outdoor games, sports, arts and crafts, drama, weekly beach days, and walking field trips.
• Around Town Camp — 11-14 years · Session 1: June 22 - June 26; Session 2: July 6 - July 10; All Day: 9 am-4:30 pm; Extended care: 8-9 am and 4:30-5:30 pm · Local attractions may include surfing, paddle boarding, archery, hiking, tide pooling, and much more.
• Lil' Campers — 4.9-5 years · Morning half-day and all-day options are available. · Offered to kids eligible to enter kindergarten in the fall; campers must be potty trained and turn 5 by the September 1st cutoff to participate.
• Camp Capitola Junior Leader program — 14-17 years · At least 1 full 2-week session of summer · Summer opportunity for teens interested in becoming a Camp Capitola Recreation Leader after high school; provides leadership and job training while assisting Camp Capitola Recreation Leaders.
