Capitola Beach Company Surf and Stand Up Paddle Boarding Lessons

Capitola Beach Company Surf and Stand Up Paddle Boarding Lessons offers Private Surf Lessons, Semi-Private Surf Lessons, Group Surf Lessons, Beginner SUP Lessons, Semi-Private SUP Lessons, and Private SUP Lessons. Private Surf Lessons include one-on-one instruction on the beach and in the water and last 1.5 or 2 hours. Group Surf Lessons focus on surfing safety, surf etiquette, and wave riding fundamentals, and all surf lessons include equipment; SUP lessons include a wetsuit, board, paddle, and leash.

Programs

• Private Surf Lessons — Ages 5 & up · $195–$260 per session · One-on-one instruction on the beach and in the water. Lessons are 1.5 hours or 2 hours. All equipment is included.
• Semi-Private Surf Lessons — Ages 10 & up · $150 per session · Designed for family members and friends. Semi-private lessons are 2 hours. All equipment is included.
• Group Surf Lessons — Ages 12 & up · $125 per session · Designed for beginner and first time surfers. Focuses on surfing safety, surf etiquette, and wave riding fundamentals. Group lessons are 2 hours. All equipment is included.
• Beginner SUP Lessons — Ages 12 and up · $125 per session · 2 hour lesson covering SUP fundamentals, etiquette, condition awareness, safety, proper paddling techniques and self-rescue. Wetsuit, board, paddle and leash included.
• Semi-Private SUP Lessons — Ages 12 and up · $150 per session · Exclusive 2 hour semi-private lesson with family members or friends. 2 to 3 students. Wetsuit, board, paddle and leash included.
• Private SUP Lessons — All ages · $195 per session · One-on-one Stand Up Paddle instruction. Wetsuit, board, paddle and leash included.
