About the provider
The Club has served well over 90,000 youth since opening in 1952. A second facility was added in 1982, the name became Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad in 1994, and teen programs at Carlsbad High School and Sage Creek High School began in 2015. The Club says, "To inspire our community's young people to BE GREAT by offering educational, enriching and fun experiences in a safe environment."
No child is ever turned away due to inability to pay. The Club has an open-door policy. Club programs are open to youth ages 6-18 years old.
