YMCA Summer Camps

YMCA Summer Camps offers Summer Camp, Summer Day Camps, Summer Enrichment Camps, Summer Sports Camps, Counselor In Training for young teens, and Sleepaway Camp for children and teens ages 5 to 18. Activities include supervised activities, art, STEM activities, sports, outdoor recreation, field trips, and outdoor adventures. The program also includes weekly themes and sports instruction.

Programs

• Summer Camp — Y Summer Camps provide children and teens with supervised activities that cultivate values, develop skills, nurture relationships, and actively explore children’s imagination.
• Summer Day Camps — YMCA campers will experience art, STEM activities, sports and outdoor recreation, field trips, and much more. Weekly themes bring energy to camp and ensure that each week is a different adventure.
• Summer Enrichment Camps
• Summer Sports Camps — A safe and fun environment with the FUN-damentals of your favorite sports covered.
• Counselor In Training — young teens
• Sleepaway Camp — Enjoy outdoor adventures and new friendships that last a lifetime.

About the provider

The YMCA was formed in Santa Barbara and Ventura in 1887. In 1910, construction began on the first official Y building in Santa Barbara, and the facility opened in 1912. The Ventura YMCA got its start on September 30, 1887. The YMCA is committed to strengthening communities and helping people learn, grow, and thrive. It is dedicated to Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility, and it is ACA accredited. Financial assistance is available, and programs and services are available to everyone regardless of ability to pay.
