Tides Ocean Adventure Summer Camps includes time to surf, stand-up paddle, and bodyboard, along with building sandcastles, doing crafts, and playing beach games. Campers take part in a weekly marine biology lesson, guided tide pool exploration, and guided beach exploration, and they also have time to make new friends. The program includes nature-journaling, note-taking, reading, and outdoor learning, with games that incorporate the weekly learning and time to explore the beach and tide pools as the tide allows.

• Schedule: Camps are offered throughout the summer, Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Tides Ocean Adventure Summer Camps is led by a marine biologist teacher and runs small group classes of up to 14 students per group. Each session features fresh and original marine biology curriculum, described as a marine biology, hands-on exploration class and like a weekly beach and tide pool field trip with marine biology lessons, friends, collaborative games, and beach play. All the gear needed for activities is provided, including soft-top surfboards, stand up paddle boards, bodyboards, frisbees, balls, shovels, craft items, and easy-ups for shade, and participants may bring their own boards. The program’s stated mission is outdoor, farm based children’s education, cultivating educational and farming experiences where community, wonder, and beauty inspire growth. Tides Carp is conjoined with Farm to Table on Wednesdays and El Jardin Carp on Fridays.
