Castro Valley Little League is a community-based, volunteer-run youth baseball organization. The program offers youth baseball in age-based divisions and is a 100% volunteer organization. It is located in District 45 of Northern California and states that it provides a safe, inclusive, and fun environment for players of all experience levels to develop their skills both on and off the field.
Castro Valley Little League was established in 1955. Its mission is to teach the values of teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship through organized play. The league lists the following leadership roles: Anthony Solis as President and as the contact for Intermediate, Juniors, and Seniors; Brittany Nielsen as League Player Agent; Jeff Outzen for Wee Ball and Tee Ball; Brian Gilmore for Farm (Coach Pitch); Ryan Kochevar for Minor B; Tracy Huckaby for Minor A; and Tony Batella for Challenger. The league notes community involvement through a CyclebarCV fundraiser with Castro Valley Little League, an SF Giants group outing fundraiser, and a Cal Berkeley group outing fundraiser.
