Patti's Swim School offers private lessons, beginner, intermediate, and advanced lessons, as well as special needs swim lessons. The program also offers Parent & Me Confidence Builders (private 1-on-1 lessons), Build-Your-Own Group Swim Lessons, baby and me classes, intensive weekly lessons with perpetual enrollment, and parent child lessons.

Since its establishment in 1981, Patti's Swim School has worked with over 100,000 individuals, including both children and adults, to develop essential swim safety skills. Patti O’Brien, the founder of Patti’s Swim School, has a BA in Education and an MA in Educational Leadership and Administration. Patti's Swim School uses the Red Cross Water Safety curriculum. The program is described as a boutique institution specializing in private, one-on-one swim instruction, with personal and customized swimming lessons and customized programs for those with special needs. The school is described as having a warm, welcoming environment where everyone feels at home, with a focus on water safety and lifesaving skills and instructors who help refine swimming technique. The mission of Patti's Swim School is to transform swimmers of all ages into confident and skilled swimmers through personalized lessons, expert coaching, and a safe and fun learning environment, and to foster a love for the water and promote a healthy, active lifestyle. One parent reported that within two sessions their daughter was swimming and floating, and described the instructors as fabulous and the experience as worth the money. Another parent described the management and customer service as excellent, the staff as extremely friendly, professional, and efficient for both children and adults, and specifically mentioned that their kids had a great time with an instructor named Ryan. A parent of a 5-year-old shared that in two weeks their child went from not wanting to put her head under water to fully submerging herself, and after five weeks was already practicing diving, and they described multiple instructors, including Daniel, as sweet, patient, knowledgeable, calm, centered, and professional. Another parent said the instructors are truly dedicated, provide individual attention and a supportive learning environment, and that their daughter made remarkable progress with an instructor named Isaac. One family shared that their child went from never leaving the pool steps to being able to dive and almost swim across the whole pool, and they described their instructor Santiago as friendly, patient, and overall awesome, and said booking was easy, transparent, and straightforward.
