About
Sierra Canyon Day Camp offers swim and water activities at its inflatable water park and swimming pools. Campers also spend time in an air conditioned arcade, including during specific late-day programs.
• Schedule: Regular day camp hours are Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM during Summer 2026, which runs from June 17, 2026 to August 21, 2026. Extended Day Care is available from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM, with no extra charge for supervision from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM and from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Water Pass Wednesdays extend the camp day from the end of the regular camp day until 4:45 PM, and campers enrolled in Water Pass Wednesdays may stay in extended day care until 6:00 PM at no additional charge.
• Price: Bus service costs $30 per day per camper for one-way service and $35 per day per camper for round-trip service. Extended Day Care fees are $20 per day per child for both AM and PM, or $15 per day per child for AM or PM only. Water Pass Wednesdays cost $40 per day.
New for 2026, Water Pass Wednesday is open to campers of all ages and provides fully supervised swim and water activities at the inflatable water park or swimming pools, with over an hour of extended water play time. After the water activities, children change back into regular clothes and spend time in the air conditioned arcade from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. There is no late bus for campers attending Water Pass Wednesday, and parents pick up on campus at 5:00 PM, with Water Pass campers available for dismissal line pickup beginning at 5:00 PM or earlier if parents park and walk in with their dismissal pass.
Each bus is staffed with a bus counselor who greets campers and helps them find their way around camp, and all buses are equipped with seatbelts and air conditioning. Transportation is provided by First Student, whose drivers comply with Federal and State Department of Transportation regulations and Board of Education requirements. For the first few days, the camp asks to see an adult’s ID when picking up campers from the bus and compares it with the shuttle authorization form, and if another person will pick up a camper from the bus, parents must notify the Transportation Office before 2:00 PM.
Sierra Canyon Day Camp notes that it is celebrating 55 years and has operated since 1972. The leadership team includes Executive Director Garrett Crosby, Head of Camp Adam Horwitz, Staff Directors Kevin Fitzpatrick and Leah Waxman, Admissions Director Nicole Miller, and Operations Director Steve Nairin. Accreditation is referenced in the camp’s safety information, although no specific accrediting body is listed in the available details.
