CARD Youth Camps, Classes, and Activities offers summer camps, sports, arts, outdoor adventures, STEM activities, creative arts, and fitness options for youth. The program also includes special events such as the 4th of July Parade, Movies in the Pool, and the Nature Center Ice Cream Social.

The Chico Area Recreation and Park District (CARD), established in 1948, has been operating for more than 75 years. The Mission of the Chico Area Recreation and Park District (CARD) is to provide recreation opportunities to the greater Chico Community in a coordinated and cost effective manner. CARD’s Play Guide showcases a wide variety of sports, classes, camps, and special events designed for all ages. CARD brings friends and families together to create joyful experiences and lasting memories, and its Legacy Landmarks project honors individuals who have shaped and strengthened the community through their passion, dedication, and service.
