The program follows the rules and policies of Little League Baseball, Incorporated, and emphasizes the type of leadership extended to the players over stressing exceptional athletic skills or winning games.
The stated objective of Chula Vista American Little League is to implant in the boys and girls of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, and respect for authority, with the goal that they will be well adjusted, stronger and happier boys and girls and will grow to be decent, healthy and trustworthy individuals.
