About
Quiñones Muay Thai offers Muay Thai instruction for kids and adults, along with Taekwon-do, conditioning, and hand-to-hand combat training. The program includes Kids Muay Thai, Kids Self Defense, Adults Muay Thai, self-defense seminars, and training that uses technical pad work, foundational drilling, and conditioning with clear technical progression. Classes are structured by age and level, with kids classes supervised and age-appropriate, and training scaled so new students are not expected to keep up with advanced athletes on day one.
• Ages: 13–18 years old
• Schedule: Kids and adult class options are available Monday–Friday in the afternoon and evening, with kids classes and kids self-defense sessions held on select weekday evenings.
Quiñones Muay Thai is led by Founder and Head Coach Kru Mario Quiñones, who has nearly four decades of martial arts experience and nearly three decades of instruction. He is a USA Muay Thai Olympic Coach/Trainer, a WBC Muay Thai Trainer, and an educator, and he has been building his school since 2016. The program follows a philosophy that martial arts is a science and a lifestyle that should connect to real life, not stay inside the gym. It is open to the public, beginners are welcome, and most new students start from zero, with kids and adults able to enroll in a family-focused, community-focused culture built through his school since 2016.
According to parent and student testimonials, families report that kids are learning discipline, confidence, and respect, and that they have trained for multiple years and grown mentally, physically, and as a family. Students describe the environment as welcoming and without intimidation, with classes taught at each person’s level and coaching that focuses on fixing bad habits in a no-judgment setting. Testimonials also describe training that pushes students physically and builds mental and emotional strength, with students welcomed, coached carefully, and held to a real standard.
