Ultimate Sports Connection Camps and Classes

Ultimate Sports Connection Camps & Classes offers activities such as Tiny Tumblers Preschool Summer Camp, gymnastics camps, recreational gymnastics, competitive gymnastics, tumbling and acrobatics, and open gym time. The Tiny Tumblers Preschool Summer Camp includes gymnastics, fine arts and learning activities like singing, music, dancing, shapes, numbers, colors, and letters, along with snack and story time (reading). The program also offers year-round classes, partner cheer programs, Kids' Night In / Parents Night Out, birthday parties, school field trips, corporate team building, special events, and adult classes.

• Schedule: Tiny Tumblers Preschool Summer Camp runs daily from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm as a three-hour program, with general facility hours that include morning and afternoon/evening options Monday through Saturday.

Tiny Tumblers Preschool Summer Camp is specifically designed for children aged 3–5 who are potty trained. The program also lists a Preschool/Kinder Gymnastics Trial Class for ages 3–6 years, a Developmental/Pre-Team Gymnastics Program for ages 3–7 years, a Recreational Gymnastics Trial Class for ages 6–12 years, a Tumbling Trial Class for ages 6–12 years and up, a Home School P.E. Trial Class for all ages, and Competitive Girls' Gymnastics Teams for ages 5 and up. Open gyms are offered for young kids and adults.

Ultimate Sports Connection is led by co-owners and head coaches Abra Slater and Monica L. Subieta. Coaches are described as skilled, experienced, and positive, and are described as putting safety first. Abra Slater holds several USAG certifications, including Meet Director and Safety, and is CPR certified. Monica Subieta holds USAG certifications in Junior Olympic Team Coaching, Safety and Risk Management, SafeSport, Pre-school Fundamentals, Fundamentals of Gymnastics Instruction and Skill Evaluation, and is also certified in CPR.

The facility is described as a spacious, climate-controlled, 23,000+ square foot clean facility with state-of-the-art equipment and onsite owners and management. It is described as a friendly, exciting community where all experiences are welcome, with a focus on Unity, Strength, and Character. High volume call times are noted between 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm, with email suggested for faster service.

The program’s stated vision is to guide each athlete as they uncover and cultivate their unique strengths and talents through commitment to high caliber training, safety, and sportsmanship. Ultimate Sports Connection was established to develop strength in both the mind and body of today’s youth through sports, while cultivating self-confidence and discipline to better serve and engage with the community around them.

Abra is described as being focused on her local communities, participating in multiple Muscular Dystrophy events and founding the Hawaii Gymnastics Foundation, whose mission was to further, and make affordable to all, the sport of gymnastics. Spirit Of The Flame, associated with the program, is described as an internationally known gymnastics competition in its 19th year. Ultimate Sports Connection is described as the Best Gymnastics Center in Bay Point, California, and Abra has worked with several Olympic coaches, including Dick Mulvihill, Linda Metheny, and Mark Young, and is an award-winning choreographer.

Parent feedback includes comments that coaches, owners, and staff care and are very friendly and knowledgeable, that the gym is very clean and well organized with a strong ratio of kids to coaches, and that teachers are wonderful and the owners are very on top of things.
