Soccer in the Sand is a program that centers on a beach soccer tournament and related activities. Participants take part in a beach soccer tournament and can attend a free beach clinic to learn beach soccer techniques, get familiar with the rules, and spend time with fellow participants. More than 10,000 individuals have participated in these free clinics.

Soccer in the Sand offers a free beach clinic held the Friday before each tournament. The program states a mission of being a place where the community can come together to have fun and celebrate the love for the game, with a focus on running well organized events and the safety of participants, spectators, and company staff. Its stated values include creating a fun family environment, making sure everyone on the beach is smiling, having a well organized event, making Soccer in the Sand tournaments a team and family tradition, preserving and protecting water and beaches, and “Have Fun! Have Fun! (yes twice).”
The leadership team includes Founder and Owner Chris Lemay of Soccer in the Sand LLC; Tournament Director Jordan Arias for San Diego, CA; Seaside, OR; and Grand Haven, MI; and Tournament Director and Owner Scott Lemay for multiple tournament locations in Ohio, Indiana, New York, Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Michigan, along with Co-Directors Holly Peters and Mike Vollmer. The program states that in 13 years it has given over $280,000 back to local organizations. Soccer in the Sand partners with local soccer club organizations to help raise funds for their programs and describes its mission as growing the game of beach soccer and giving back to the local communities where the tournaments take place.
