About the provider

Covina Development Center was established in 1957. Its mission statement is, “A special place where special children learn and grow together.” All teaching staff have or are eligible for their Child Development Permits from the California Department of Education, and most have completed two to four years of college. Several are in the process of obtaining advanced degrees. The programs and staff have received many awards and praise for their excellence and effectiveness.

Parents are welcome to call to schedule a tour and speak with staff. The school says an environment should be safe, fun, nurturing, and conducive to learning.
