JAG Gym offers gymnastics classes, competitive gymnastics teams, parties, camps, Jungle Jym-tastics, Gem-tastics, JAG Flips, NinJAGs, Ninja Gym, Learn 2 Flip, and Private Instruction. Gymnastics students train on vault, bars, beam, floor, and tumble track, while Flips students focus on tumbling on floor only. Recreational programs follow three tracks called Jungle Jym-tastics, Gem-tastics, and NinJAGs, and Gem-tastics includes Sapphire, Emerald, and Ruby levels.

JAG Gym offers over 200 classes each week, and all programs are billed monthly with no long-term commitment. JAG’s girls’ team program offers training by age, level, and goals and competes within USAG and XCEL programs. The Gem Squad program is an accelerated gymnastics experience with all levels that meets twice weekly. NinJAGs is described as high-energy obstacle training that builds strength, agility, and confidence. JAG states that it focuses on physical development, including strength, flexibility, and coordination, as well as building confidence, character, and joy.
JAG Gym was founded in 2004. The founder, Anne Josephson, opened JAG Gym’s doors in 2004 and has experience as a gymnastics coach, gymnastics judge, educational psychologist, and parent of four. JAG describes itself as Los Angeles’ premier children’s activity center and one of the top gymnastics centers in the country.
JAG states that it serves over 2,000 families each week and describes itself as a community where families can connect and everyone feels welcome. The program’s mission statement is “We do good things for kids!” JAG Gym is a children’s activity center with nearly 25,000 square feet of state-of-the-art equipment, extensive earthquake retrofitting, hand-selected equipment, cozy observation areas, free Wi-Fi, and a sibling space. A mobile application is available to enroll, check student attendance, book parties, and more, with push notifications.

Camp Instructors are expected to be comfortable working with a group of up to 10 children between 3–6 hours.
