Dance Academy USA

Dance Academy USA offers Creative Movement for 3 year olds, Intro to Dance for 4-6 year olds, and Combo classes for 5-7 year olds. It also offers Intro to K-Pop for 7-9 year old dancers, Intro to Lyrical for 7-9 year old dancers, Flexibility Fun for ages 8-11, Flex and Flow for ages 10+, and Little Hip Hop for ages 4-5. The adult program includes a variety of dance and fitness classes for adults of all experience levels.

Programs

• Creative Movement — 3 year olds · Specially designed for 3 year olds. Dancers must be age 3 by Aug. 1, 2026.
• Intro to Dance — 4-6 year olds · Teaches the fundamentals of tap and ballet in a fun and nurturing environment.
• Combo — 5-7 year olds · Combo classes for 5-7 year olds offer the opportunity to continue exploring multiple dance styles.
• Intro to K-Pop — 7-9 year-old dancers · Teaches the fundamentals of K-Pop dance.
• Intro to Lyrical — 7-9 year-old dancers · Participants learn basic techniques in ballet, jazz, and modern and begin exploring how to fuse these styles to tell a story.
• Flex and Flow — 10+ · Improves strength, balance, and flexibility in a fun, guided class.
• Flexibility Fun — 8–11 · A playful class that guides young dancers through stretching and strengthening activities, improves range of motion, and builds confidence in movement.
• Little Hip Hop — 4-5 · A fun and energetic introduction to hip hop dance for children ages 4-5.
• Adult Dance & Fitness Program — adults of all experience levels · Weekly classes listed Monday-Friday · Offers a variety of dance and fitness classes for adults of all experience levels.

About the provider

Dance Academy USA was established in 1990 by James Carter and Jane Carter, and Jane Carter is the Founding Director. The school says it was established to build a dance community centered around inclusivity, community, friendship, and family. It has been recognized by Dance Teacher Magazine as one of the best private studios in the nation, and Jane Carter received America’s Dance Educator of the Year from Co. Dance in 2013 and the 2014 Dance Teacher Award in the Private Studio/Conservatory Category.
