Joyful Melodies Music School offers group lessons, private lessons, music camps, and recitals. The program provides both group and private lessons, and it can also provide private lessons at a family’s home if requested. The school offers both morning and afternoon classes that are based at a child’s school and can tailor lesson plans and times to fit a school’s specific needs.

Joyful Melodies Music School is dedicated to providing high quality music education to children and adults, with a mission to instill and foster a passion for music in its students. The school’s highly trained teachers, most of whom have advanced degrees in music from leading universities, are described as talented professionals dedicated to providing their students with the best in music education. The Executive Director, Carol Liu, is the Founder and Director of Joyful Melodies Music School in Silicon Valley, California. Carol received her Bachelor of Arts in Piano Performance and Composition from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and her Masters of Music in Music Technology from New York University, and she served for many years as the Vice President of the Santa Clara Branch of the Music Teachers’ Association of California. Carol received her Music Together teacher certification in 2004 and has over 20 years of experience teaching music and piano to students of all ages, and her early childhood awareness music programs have been used extensively in schools in the United States, Taiwan, and China to introduce young students to music.
The program’s music classes are currently offered at over 70 preschools and elementary schools in the Northern California Bay Area, and it offers group lessons at many preschools and elementary schools throughout the region. The program is fully insured, and its teachers have passed Live Scan background assessments. The Music Teachers’ Association of California, where Carol served as a vice president at the branch level, is described as the premier United States professional pedagogical music organization that coordinates and administers the internationally renowned Certificate of Merit (CM) program.
