Joyful Melodies Music School offers group lessons, private lessons, music camps, and recitals. The program offers group and private lessons at a Cupertino studio and can also provide private lessons at students' homes if requested. Group lessons are also offered at many preschools and elementary schools throughout the Northern California Bay Area, with both morning and afternoon classes based at schools.

Joyful Melodies Music School is dedicated to providing high quality music education to children and adults, with a mission to instill and foster a passion for music in its students. The program can tailor lesson plans and times to fit students’ and schools’ specific needs. Most teachers have advanced degrees in music from leading universities, and teachers are described as highly-trained professionals devoted to both music and teaching. The organization is fully insured, and teachers have passed Live Scan background assessments.
The music program is currently offered at over 70 preschools and elementary schools in the Northern California Bay Area, and its early childhood awareness music programs have been used extensively in schools in the United States, Taiwan, and China. Carol Liu is the Executive Director, Founder, and Director of Joyful Melodies Music School in Silicon Valley, California, and she has over 20 years of experience teaching music and piano. Carol received her Bachelor of Arts in Piano Performance and Composition from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and her Masters of Music in Music Technology from New York University, served for many years as the Vice President of the Santa Clara Branch of the Music Teachers’ Association of California, and received her Music Together teacher certification in 2004.
