About
Step into a world of waves, color, and sound at Light & Sound Explorers S.T.E.A.M Camp. Designed for curious minds ages 4.5–11, this hands-on camp blends physics, creativity, and playful engineering through age-appropriate experiments and builds that make invisible ideas visible—and audible.
Shine Bright. Sound Off.
Campers investigate how light and sound travel, reflect, bend, and vibrate. Each day combines discovery with making, allowing children to experiment, test, and create projects they can proudly take home.
What Campers Will Explore & Build
DIY Smartphone Hologram
Build a simple hologram projector and watch images appear to "float," learning about reflection and angles of light.
Sound Sandwich / Mini Harmonica
Create a handheld instrument and explore how vibration and airflow produce sound.
Benham's Top Optical Illusion
Design a spinning illusion that creates unexpected colors from black-and-white patterns, revealing how our eyes and brain process light.
Periscope Build
Construct a working periscope using mirrors and discover how reflection allows us to see around corners.
Straw Pan Flute
Build a pan flute and experiment with pitch by changing tube length and airflow.
Stained Glass Light Art
Create colorful "stained glass" designs while learning how light passes through color to form patterns.
Learning That Lights Up Curiosity
Through hands-on projects, playful testing, and guided exploration, campers develop scientific thinking, creativity, and confidence—all while having fun with light, sound, and motion.
Light & Sound Explorers S.T.E.A.M Camp is where science shines, music moves, and curiosity comes alive through discovery.
