Rock-it Science offers hands-on science lessons where children take part in hands-on experimentation and hands-on experiments. The program includes homeschool classes, summer camps, field trips, and online training for teachers and homeschool parents.
Rock-it Science is a 501(c)3 nonprofit charitable organization providing hands-on science instruction to children. The program has been described as “Mister Rogers meets MythBusters,” with a science teacher who is laid back and whimsical and uses crazy fractured-fairytale stories. Students experiment hands-on with materials and equipment including fire, electricity, chemistry, and explosions, using a new classroom space opened in the Fall of 2023 that allows the use of equipment like Tesla coils and Van de Graaf generators. Rock-it Science is not affiliated with any religious entity. Starting in the Fall of 2023, Rock-it Science began sharing a campus with the A-Team Homeschool Community and has coordinated its schedule and calendar with A-Team.
