Lumine Academy offers classes where students take part in activities such as scribbling, sketching, watercolor, oil painting, digital art, sculpture, handicrafts, costume making, and plein air painting. In different classes, students explore materials, practice self-expression, develop their observational skills, learn to draw using basic shapes, discover famous masterpieces, and work toward mastery of different media for drawing and painting, including pencil, charcoal, and other drawing materials. Classes also include storytelling, composition skills, and color theory, with programs such as Scribble Magic, ArtVentures, Artistic Intrigue, Young Artist, and Drawing/Sketch Foundation.

• Schedule: Class options Monday–Friday in the afternoon and early evening, and Saturday–Sunday during the day, with weekly classes typically 1.5 hours or 2 hours long
Lumine Academy’s mission states that it aims to provide a nurturing and inspiring environment where children can explore their creativity, cultivate their artistic talents, and develop a lifelong passion for the arts, and it states a belief that art has the power to ignite curiosity, foster self-expression, and unlock imagination. The Scribble Magic class is described as an art class for ages 3.5–5, and ArtVentures is described as a hands-on art program for ages 5–7. Artistic Intrigue is described as a specialized art class for ages 8–10, the Young Artist program is described as offering art techniques for students aged 11 and older to begin building their own art portfolios, and Drawing/Sketch Foundation is described as a program for ages 8 and older with considerable emphasis on observation, problem-solving, and composition, and is described as cognitively and technically preparing students for their future art practice. Families are able to book a free trial class.
The leadership and teaching team includes Ms. Emily as the 5–7 Level Curriculum Lead, Ms. Bella as the 3.5–5 Level Curriculum Lead, Ms. Aiwen as Sketch Program Lead, and Ms. Jean, Ms. Cecilia, Ms. Audrey, and Ms. Ying as instructors, with Ms. Ying also serving as an instructor and curriculum designer. Staff credentials include Ms. Aiwen holding a BFA from the Academy of Art University, Ms. Jean holding a BFA from Queensland College of Art in Australia, Ms. Cecilia holding a bachelor’s degree in art, and Ms. Ying having graduated from the Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts. Lumine Academy notes that Aiwen’s artwork has been selected in numerous juried art shows and has earned awards, including the De Young Museum's Opening 2023 show, the Celebrating California show from the California Art Club, the Capitola Plein Air Competition, and the Iconic California show hosted by the Coastal Art League gallery.
