• Ages: 5–13 years old

Star Kids Academy Robotics offers summer camps, after-school classes, school break camps during Thanksgiving, winter, spring, and summer, and a play-based kindergarten robotics program. The program includes competition pathways, team competition, cooperative gaming, co-op gaming to get used to game mechanics in a non-competitive way, and a camp gamification track system with a class incentive system and a student track point system that uses points from accomplishments, projects, and completed assignments for upgrades and boosts. It also offers mentorship programs, student mentors with points for mentorship and leadership, paired at-home tutoring for competition teams, and personalized tracks for students who want to learn from home, as well as support for each family in their educational goals.

The program states a mission of elevating education for children ages 5–13 through interactive STEAM learning. It has over 28 years of teaching experience, over 11 years of experience in the classroom teaching robotics, and also cites 30 years of teaching in its site metrics. The curriculum is designed in alignment with ISTE Standards and the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), and Star Kids Academy’s Certified System is credentialed to fulfill standards in ISTE, NGSS, and CSTA. Each student who completes a camp or semester class receives an endorsed certification for completion under these standards, and the program notes that camp and class completion have future value and benefit. The program connects families to local tech industry professionals and high school robotics teams, and offers eight different themed camps with interactive learning through gamification and creative STEAM exploration, including a play-based kindergarten robotics program for students aged 5–6.
