About

Danville Sea Devils Little Devils Swim Program includes swim evaluations, regular swim practices, Spring Clinics, and participation in seasonal teams. Swimmers take part in training and competition through swim meets, including the Little Devils Meet @ Danville Station.

• Ages: 4–7 years old
• Schedule: Summer session runs June 8–July 22 with practices on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, and a Little Devils Meet on July 22; fall session runs August 24–October 1 with practices Tuesday through Thursday.
• Price: SUMMER cost: $350. FALL cost: $350.

The Little Devils program is for swimmers 7 and under who have been exposed to water and are safe and comfortable in a group lesson environment, and it is not a learn-to-swim program or one-on-one swim lessons. All potential Little Devils must complete a swim evaluation with a coach before starting, and registration opens after evaluations. Coaches separate swimmers into practice groups after the first day of practice and notify families by email, and they typically have one coach in the water for every four Little Devils. Coaches ask swimmers to bring goggles, a kickboard, a practice suit without baggy suits or swim shirts, and a cap for swimmers with long hair, and families can purchase equipment and apparel through the Swim Outlet Store, the team store, Squadlocker, Amazon, or Sports Basement.

Summer practices are scheduled from 11:35 AM to 12:00 PM, and fall practices are scheduled from 4:05 PM to 4:30 PM. The practice schedule is tentative and is finalized after registration is complete, and there is no practice from June 29 through July 2 in summer and no practice on September 7 in fall. No daily refunds or rebates are offered if a practice is canceled due to excessive heat, pool temperature, poor air quality, inclement weather, or water contamination. If a family cancels registration before the first day of practice, a $50 administrative fee is retained, and refunds are not granted after the start of each season or for discount codes that were not entered at registration.

The Danville Sea Devils are a non-profit, recreational swim team whose mission is to provide swimmers with an opportunity to develop important skills and compete with other swimmers in the community. The team is part of the Valley Swim Association (VSA), with meets primarily against other VSA teams, and participation in summer swim meets is obligatory and requires adherence to team standards. The team promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, pride in representing the community, and aims to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for swimmers of all ages and abilities. The team strictly prohibits bullying or harassment and promotes peer support.

Each coach is required to be CPR certified before instructing. The Danville Sea Devil operations are managed by volunteer parents and the Leadership Team, who focus on sustainability through resource management, balanced fees, and fundraising and registration fees to support coaches, facilities, and activities. Community and camaraderie are reinforced through social events. Coach Greg is the contact for questions about Clinics or evaluations.
