About

The Danville Sea Devils Little Devils Program is a swim program that includes swim evaluations, regular swim practices, and a Little Devils Meet. Swimmers take part in organized swim practice sessions and finish the season with the Little Devils Meet at Danville Station on Wednesday, July 22, from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM.

• Ages: 4–7 years old
• Schedule: Summer session runs June 8–July 22 with practices on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, and no practice from June 29 through July 2; Fall session runs August 24–October 1 with practices Tuesday through Thursday
• Price: Summer: $350. Fall: $350.

The Little Devils Program is for children between the ages of 4 and 7 who are interested in the swim team but are not quite ready yet and who have been exposed to water and are safe and comfortable in a group lesson environment. This is not a learn-to-swim program, and it is not one-on-one swim lessons. The Little Devils swim program aims to teach the technique and endurance skills needed to join the swim team, and all potential Little Devils must complete a swim evaluation with a coach before starting the program. Coaches will separate swimmers into practice groups after the first day of practice and notify families by email which group their swimmer will be in, and the practice schedule is tentative and will be finalized after registration is complete. This program is for swimmers 7 and under only; swimmers older than 7 should participate in the Summer Team.

For the Summer session, practices are tentatively scheduled from 11:35 AM to 12:00 PM, and for the Fall session, practices are tentatively scheduled from 4:05 PM to 4:30 PM. Registration for the program will open after evaluations, which are expected to take place in April during SRVUSD Spring Break for Summer Little Devils and in August, most likely the first week, for Fall Little Devils. The program typically has one coach in the water for every four Little Devils, and each coach is required to be CPR certified before instructing. Coaches ask that swimmers come to each practice with goggles, a kickboard, a practice suit with no baggy suits and no swim shirts, and a cap for swimmers with long hair, and families can buy equipment and practice suits at the Swim Outlet Store, team caps at the team store, additional apparel through Squadlocker, or order through Amazon or Sports Basement.

Refunds will not be granted after the start of each season. If a family cancels registration before the first day of practice, a $50 administrative fee will be retained. No daily refunds or rebates will be offered if a practice is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances such as excessive heat, pool temperature, poor air quality, inclement weather, or water contamination. Practices depend on Danville Station and Greenbrook HOA approval.

The Danville Sea Devils were founded in 1983 and are a nonprofit recreational swim team. Their mission is to provide swimmers with opportunities to develop important life and swimming skills while competing with other swimmers in the community. The Danville Sea Devils are guided by core values including sportsmanship, excellence, accountability, development, engagement, values, inclusivity, and leadership. The team is part of the Valley Swim Association, and their meets are primarily against other Valley Swim Association teams throughout the San Ramon Valley and surrounding communities, and the program has expanded to serve swimmers throughout the San Ramon Valley Unified School District and beyond the immediate area. They remain connected to their home pool and home community at Danville Station and help create a community experience for local families and swimmers from schools such as Greenbrook Elementary, John Baldwin Elementary, Charlotte Wood Middle School, and San Ramon Valley High School. Coach Greg is the contact for questions about clinics or evaluations and for joining the waitlist for the Summer Swim Team.
