About
Stambusky Studios Dance Classes and Summer Camps offers regular dance classes, summer camps, wellness classes, and dance competitions that include Music and Movement, Creative Movement and Pre-ballet, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, acro dance, and acrobatic elements. Classes also cover dance technique such as turns, jumps, and correct feet positions, along with strength training and flexibility, and styles including jazz, hip hop, lyrical, and musical theater. Music and Movement includes circle-time music and songs along with creative movement games and dances.
• Ages: 18 months–18 years old
• Schedule: Classes run on a month-to-month basis during a season from September 5, 2025, through May 29, 2026, with options on weekdays including morning and afternoon times; all regular weekly classes are on hold for the summer.
• Price: $75 per month for Music and Movement and petite-level classes, and $95 per month for POPROCKS, Rock-itz, Dance technique, and Acro classes, with options to combine certain classes at $140, $180, or mix-and-match rates; payments are taken through Venmo @breanne-Stambusky.
Music and Movement was created using 17 years of experience as a preschool para-professional. The program is led by Breanne and Spencer. Stambusky Studios was established in 2014, the POPROCKS Junior Performance Team began in 2015, and Ballerina Petite Creative Movement and Pre-ballet started in 2016. The studio’s stated philosophy is that dance should be fun and available to everyone, and it describes itself as a place for people of all ages and abilities to explore creative movement and wellness, striving to be a welcoming, creative space for everyone in the community.
Music and Movement is described as being for a slightly younger demographic and their caregivers to enjoy together. Ballerina Petite is described as a fun, imaginative, and magical class, and Intermediate Petite is described as a “level 2” class for the petite age group that is less play based. The POPROCKS Junior Performance Team is co-ed for ages 6–14 and performs only at local events. Rock-itz is an all-boys team using a blend of pop and hip hop styles with a playlist created with all male artists, and enrollment for teams is open to anyone interested in being part of the team with no audition required, though dance experience is needed to join. Petite Tap requires tap shoes.
If a family is not sure what to expect, a child is invited to join a class for free to see if it is a good fit. Teams perform at local events such as farmers markets, parades, and festivals. The studio states that it is diligently following safety guidelines from California and Yolo County and is open for limited in-person classes. Stambusky Studios Dance Collective states that it is for people of all ages and abilities.
Parent and student testimonials describe positive and warm experiences with dance and competition, a fun and supportive organization that encourages personal expression and teamwork, and a familial environment where dancers feel welcomed and supported. Testimonials also describe Breanne’s flexible attitude, organizational skills, and an inclusive spirit in her program.
