About

Music and Movement classes include circle-time music and songs that help with brain development along with creative movement games and dances to build muscle and spatial awareness. Ballerina Petite is described as a fun, imaginative and magical class, and Intermediate Petite is a “level 2” class for the petite age group that is less play based.

• Ages: 18 months–14 years old
• Schedule: Season runs from September 5th 2025 through May 29th 2026 for listed classes, with classes offered on a month-to-month basis and all regular weekly classes on hold for the summer.
• Price: $75 per month for Music and Movement; $75 per month for Ballerina Petite, Petite Tap, Petite Jazz, and Intermediate Petite with an option of two petite classes per week for $140 per month; $95 per month for POPROCKS Jazz, POPROCKS Dance Exploration, Rock-itz All Boys Team, Dance Technique, and Acro classes, with an option of two Poprock, Technique, or Acro classes per month for $180; payments are taken through Venmo @breanne-Stambusky.

Music and Movement is described as being for a slightly younger demographic and their caregivers to enjoy together. Petite Tap requires tap shoes. Dancers in several classes have the opportunity to perform in a season recital. If a family is not sure what to expect, a child is invited to join a class for free to see if it is a good fit. The studio frequently has guest instructors or trial classes available.

Stambusky Studios was established in 2014, the POPROCKS Junior Performance Team started in 2015, and Creative Movement and Pre-ballet started in 2016. The POPROCKS Junior Performance Team is co-ed for ages 6–14 with no dance experience necessary, and it performs only at local events. Rock-itz is an all boys team consisting of dancers ages 6–10, using a blend of pop and hip hop styles and a playlist created with all male artists. Enrollment is open to anyone interested in being part of the team with no audition necessary, although dance experience is needed to join. Teams perform at local events such as farmers markets, parades, and festivals.

Music and Movement classes are created using 17 years of experience as a preschool para-professional. Dance Technique Level 1, Dance Technique Level 2, Acro Level 1, and Acro Level 2 are taught with Spencer. The studio states a philosophy that dance should be fun and available to everyone and describes itself as a place for people of all ages and abilities to explore creative movement and wellness, striving to be a welcoming, creative space for everyone in the community. The studio states “Movement for every body” and notes that it is diligently following all safety guidelines from California and Yolo County and is open for limited in-person classes. Breanne’s style is described as more laid back and encouraging dancers to have fun and gain experiences rather than focus on competing.

One parent testimonial states that Breanne has taught two daughters and given them a positive and warm experience with dance and competition, describing Poprocks as fun and supportive, encouraging personal expression and teamwork, with low-stress competitive aspects due to Breanne’s flexible attitude and organizational skills. A dancer testimonial describes Stambusky Studios as a place to learn how to dance and connect with other people, saying it feels like a big family, that Breanne and the other dancers make them feel welcome, and that everyone is kind and helps them learn even if they do not get something right the first time.
