The Davis Community Track & Field Club is a USATF track club that provides coaching and training for all track and field and cross country events and is registered under the Pacific Association of USATF. The club states that it seeks to promote the sport of track and field, develop athletes’ skills, encourage physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle, and promote the value of sportsmanship, teamwork, personal goal setting, and hard work. Its mission includes helping athletes of all abilities reach their track and field and cross country goals in a fun and safe environment, and mentoring and guiding the next generation of track and field coaches in the community. Fairfield Subaru is a sponsor of the team, and Subaru’s donation to the program will directly benefit the young track and field athletes.

Optional items include a hat, event-specific spikes if the athlete already owns them, and a snack that does not contain peanut products, and families are asked not to bring video games or to leave any portable video game device in a bag. Families are told that practice begins at 9am and that arriving around 8:45am is recommended.
