Davis Golf Course Junior Camps offers junior golfers activities that include golf, short game techniques, bunker play, course strategy, golf fitness, tournament strategy, and use of launch monitor technology. The Junior Beginner Summer Camp focuses on the fundamentals of golf with an athlete-first, golfer-second approach and uses drills and activities to work on key swing concepts, balance, speed, and agility. The Junior Intermediate and Junior Advanced Summer Camps build on these fundamentals with additional focus on short game techniques, bunker play, course strategy, golf fitness, and tournament strategy, along with launch monitor technology for data on swing mechanics and ball flight.
• Ages: 8–17 years old
• Schedule: One-week sessions, Monday through Friday, with Junior Beginner Summer Camp meeting 2 hours per day and Junior Intermediate and Junior Advanced Summer Camps meeting 3 hours per day
• Price: Junior Beginner Summer Camp $100 per session; Junior Intermediate Summer Camp $250 per session; Junior Advanced Summer Camp $250 per session
The Junior Beginner Summer Camp (ages 8–12) is offered June 15–19, June 22–26, July 13–17, and July 27–31 from 10 a.m.–12 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Junior Intermediate Summer Camp (ages 10–17) is offered June 29–July 3, July 6–10, and July 20–24 from 8:30–11:30 a.m., Monday through Friday. The Junior Advanced Summer Camp (ages 12–17) is offered July 13–17 and July 20–24 from 1–4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Camps are subject to cancellation if the minimum class size is not met, and participants are notified in advance with refunds or rescheduling options provided as needed. Children must be 6 years of age or older to be on the golf course, private coolers are not allowed on the course, no metal spikes are allowed, and shirts and shoes must be worn at all times.
The leadership and instructional team includes Neil Lilliedoll, Owner/General Manager; Nick Amen, Owner/Office Manager and Tournament Director; Chris Mapalo, Head Professional and PGA Head Professional; and Gary Lipelt, PGA Professional.
